    About Z Visa for Teaching and Education

    Do I need to have 2 years related teaching experience to get a Z visa in China?

    eg, if I want to be a science teacher in middle school, do I have to have two years science teaching experiences in middle school for my visa, or other subject teaching over 2 years is also acceptable?

    Yes, definitely, you need to have 2 years related teaching experience to get a Z visa in China, especially for teaching English. But for other subjects, if you have teaching experiences for over two years, and was graduated from the related major for bachelor or master degree, it would also be possible for you to get a Z visa and work permit. It depends.

    Yes, it\'s a sure thing you need experiences you mentioned in you question, so that the school which will hire you can apply a Z visa and work permit on which you can see you are a science teacher.

    As in my own experiences, I have to own over two years teaching experiences in architecture subject, and the school refused to apply a Z visa for me at that time I actually didn\'t own the related experiences.
